Chorus and Coffee and Arts

  • Jordan-Matthews Media Center 910 East Cardinal Street Siler City, NC, 27344 United States (map)

The JM Combined Chorus, featuring musicians in the beginning vocal music and music specialization classes, offers the first performance of the new year to kick off Chorus and Coffee and Arts, a preview of the 2019-20 arts season.

The free, one-hour preview includes a short concert with a quick look at some exciting events ahead by teachers Matt Fry, J.C. Harper and Rahma Mateen-Mason. The evening also features the presentation of a $100 award to the JM artist whose work was selected for the 2019 JMArts Holiday Cards and an informal reception to enjoy a few student artworks and meet the artists and instructors participating in the evening’s event.

Tickets will be on sale for JMArts’ Raffle for the Arts! fundraiser for JM artists, November’s Fairytale Character Breakfast for families, and the fall musical, “Into the Woods.” This also is your chance to purchase 2019 JMArts Holiday Cards and join JMArts to get free admissions to major events this season and help our student artists excel.
