The Brothers Grimm hit the stage with an epic fairytale about wishes, family and the choices we make in INTO THE WOODS, the timeless, modern classic by theater legends James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim.

The Baker and his wife wish to have a child. Cinderella wishes to attend the King's Festival. And Jack wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later — with disastrous results.

INTO THE WOODS is one of Sondheim’s most popular works — a timeless, musically sophisticated dark comedy that received the Tony Award for Best Book and Best Score.

General admission is $5. Everyone attending, regardless of age, must have a ticket. No passes are accepted, though qualifying JMArts members will be admitted free according to benefits at their membership levels.
