JM’s Jazz Band opens the main stage at this year’s inaugural Spring Chicken Festival in downtown Siler City with a one-hour concert — and some of their JM musician friends adding a few vocal and guitar tunes to help spice up the morning.
Enjoy the cool sounds of the JM Jazz Band, under the direction of J.C. Harper, as they perform classics like "St. Louis Blues" and "Stand By Me," along with newer favorites such as "Uptown Funk." So get ready to dance in the street!
The Spring Chicken Festival features live music, food trucks, a beer garden, local vendors, children’s attractions and a classic car show. It runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along three blocks of Chatham Avenue and intersecting streets, with the main stage located at Chatham Avenue and Raleigh Street.
