Top vocalists from across Chatham conclude their daylong vocal clinic with a free public performance by the One Chatham middle and high school choruses. One Chatham Chorus at Jordan-Matthews High School is part of a series of annual clinics for artists across the school district.

Clinician for this year’s One Chatham High School Chorus is Dr. Joshua Cheney, Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Gardner-Webb University, where he is responsible for the university’s choirs and courses in conducting, voice and guitar. Dr. Cheney has performed professionally with the North Carolina Master Chorale Chamber Choir and a number of other distinguished ensembles — in addition to serving often as a clinician and presenter throughout the United States. The Fayetteville native and Campbell University graduate holds the Doctor of Musical Arts from Louisiana State University.
