I am in twelfth grade and in Visual Arts Advanced Honors. My favorite thing about creating art is the freedom that comes with it and the way one is able to express themselves without much judgment from the world. People can express heavy emotions or topics and that can sometimes comfort those who need it, bring awareness to certain topics, parts of history or present day events.

Estoy en el último año de la secundaria y en Artes Visuales Avanzadas (Honors). Lo que más me gusta de hacer arte es la libertad que implica y la manera en que uno puede expresarse sin mucho juicio del mundo. Se pueden expresar emociones o temas fuertes y eso a veces puede reconfortar a quienes lo necesitan, generar conciencia sobre ciertos temas, partes de la historia o eventos actuales.

I am in eighth grade and Advanced Art and my favorite thing about creating art is that you get to try new mediums and get to grow your skills as an artist. I also like creating art to make people feel good and showing them or giving them a creation I made makes me feel good about the art I make.

Estoy en octavo grado y en Arte Avanzado, mi parte favorita de crear arte es que tienes la oportunidad de experimentar con nuevos medios y hacer crecer tus habilidades como artista. Me gusta crear arte para hacer sentir bien a las personas, y el hecho de mostrarles o regalarles una creación mía me hace sentir bien con mi trabajo artístico.
