I had no artist to copy but myself, because I’m my own artist! My style is more a reflection of my everyday life and feelings. My personality is free spirited and I try to always seize the moment. Jean-Michel Basquiat is the artist I have come to know and his work has been inspirational.

No tenía ningún artista a quien copiar excepto a mí mismo, porque soy mi propio artista. Mi estilo es más bien un reflejo de mi vida y mis sentimientos cotidianos. Mi personalidad es de espíritu libre y trato siempre de aprovechar el momento. Jean-Michel Basquiat es el artista que he llegado a conocer y su trabajo ha sido inspirador.

SOBRE EL ARTISTA

I am in 11th grade and am taking Art 2 with Mrs. Newman. My favorite thing about creating art is expressing myself. I can communicate openly and freely when I am painting. The process and action of making the art is truly enjoyable. Just being able to draw freely or create is what I love to do.

Estoy en el 11vo grado y estoy tomando arte 2 con la Sra. Newman. Lo que más me gusta de crear arte es poder expresarme. Puedo comunicarme abiertamente y libremente mientras estoy pintando.
