ARTIST’S INSPIRATION
LA INSPIRACIÓN DEL ARTISTA

I was inspired by the style of Heather Galler and other folk or pop-art painters who use bright colors, simple shapes and bold outlines. I also drew inspiration from children’s book illustrators like Eric Carle. I wanted to highlight the playful mood and happiness, using vivid colors, especially the green grass and flowers to frame the bunny. I also made sure the background was bright and cheerful.

Me inspiré en el estilo de Heather Galler y otros pintores populares de pop-art que utilizan colores brillantes, formas simples y contornos atrevidos. También me inspiré en ilustradores de libros infantiles, como Eric Carle. Quería resaltar el ambiente lúdico y alegre, utilizando colores vivos, especialmente el césped verde y las flores para enmarcar al conejito. También me aseguré de que el fondo fuera brillante y alegre.

I’m in 10th grade and I’m currently taking Art 1. My favorite thing about creating art is that you can have fun and express how you feel through your art. I usually like to paint more than any other thing. I could do this and not get bored with it, but I also enjoy any other type of art work.

Estoy en décimo grado y actualmente estoy cursando Arte 1. Lo que más me gusta de crear arte es poder divertirte y expresar lo que siento a través del arte. Generalmente me gusta pintar más que cualquier otra cosa. Podría hacerlo sin aburrirme, pero también disfruto de otro tipo de obra de arte.
